The Oxygen Therapy Centre has been in the Larne
area since 1988.
At first only MS patients used the therapy but over the
years various ailments as diverse as sports injuries
and cerebral palsy have been added to the list. |

Patients are treated in a specialised pressure chamber where
they can breathe Hyperbaric Oxygen (HBO). HBO is not a cure but
can be effective in helping to heal wounds and avoid
deterioration in illnesses such as Multiple Sclerosis.
The Oxygen Therapy Centre is a non-profit-making association, which raises finances through subscriptions, donations and
fund-raising. |
