Electromagnetic Healing Therapy
Electromagnetic Therapy produces gentle, low induction impulses
which correspond to the strength of the earth's magnetic field, it
is suitable for everyone - from babies to the very old and infirm.
Simply put: electromagnetic stimulation therapy improves the
way your body works. It makes the biological processes more
effective... for example, it enhances the circulation of your
blood to all the parts of your body.
Blood carries oxygen and nutrients to the cell structures
which make up the organs and muscles. Without enough oxygen and
nutrients, the cells - and then the whole body - stop
functioning. You probably won't die - but you won't feel good!
For example...Increased oxygenation of your tissues helps to
fight infection and strengthens your immune system, speeding up
recovery of damaged tissues and the mending of bone fractures.
Improved blood circulation encourages deep, relaxing sleep
to relieve insomnia, muscle tension, tension headaches and
migraine.
It also reduces or stops pain.
CLINICALLY PROVEN TO BE EFFECTIVE IN PROMOTING
IMPROVEMENTS IN...
PAIN RELIEF: Back pain, joint pain, headaches.
HEALTH AND WELL BEING: Stress, sleep quality,
concentration, immune system, cholesterol and blood pressure.
SPORTS MEDICINE: Stress, tendon and muscle injuries,
fractures.
JOINTS AND BONES: Fractures, osteoporosis, rheumatoid
arthritis, osteoarthritis, joint disorders.
NERVOUS SYSTEM: Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's, stroke,
migraine, Alzheimer's.
ALIMENTARY TRACT: Duodenal and gastric ulcers, irritable
colon syndrome.
Electro-Magnetic Therapy would take place on an
electromagnetic bed. First of all, your whole body would be
treated on the full bed or chair depending on your mobility.
Then, a smaller, specialised appliance would be used on the area
most affected. A session takes around half an hour and you would
stay fully clothed throughout.
Electromagnetic Therapy is designed to be used along side
normal medical procedures, we recommend that you continue to use
prescribed medications and follow the advice of your
doctor/consultant. |

I suffer from a condition known as Reflex Sympathetic
Dystrophy which severely restricts my mobility. I am in
unrelenting pain in every joint 24/7, have continually
headaches, and suffer from extreme nausea and skin
sensitivity. I attend the Belfast Pain Clinic. I truly
believe if I had been born a horse I would have been shot
a long time ago.
I have been going to Oxygen Therapy Centre for
approximately eight years. I do not think it is an
exaggeration to say it has greatly enhanced my life.
Although I do qualify this statement by saying I felt I
had a realistic expectation about any perceived benefits
from the outset. However, since starting Oxygen Therapy
I have had an ongoing marked improvement in my
circulation. My headaches and nausea abate on my
treatment days and most glorious of all I actually sleep
those nights. Only those who are awake night after night
in pain can appreciate how debilitating this can be, when
night merges into day and energy levels are at an all
time low. I have also been using the Electro Magnetic
Bed for around four months. I use this in conjunction
with my Oxygen Therapy. Again, I feel this is a very
worthwhile treatment and have noticed a reduction in pain
in the treated areas.
In the eight years I have been attending Oxygen
Therapy I have been humbled and inspired by the tenacity
and courage shown by various patients, who struggle with
severe disability. I immediately became aware what an
up-lifting and up-beat atmosphere prevailed there. Far
from being a place of gloom and doom where those dealing
with such adversity met, it was actually a place where
the laughter easily rang out and the "craic" was great.
Finally, Vickie and Daniel the two staff members
are very caring and professional. I cannot thank them
enough as they have come out to the car park in all
weathers to collect me in my wheelchair and return me to
my car. They certainly go the extra mile and go far and
above the call of duty and my expectations of their
duties. I would also like to thank past and present
Directors and Volunteers for their diligence and hard
work without which the Oxygen Therapy Centre would not
exist. |
